Joy Parkinson

I have been a real estate agent based out of Norfolk, Nebraska since 2018, and I have represented clients all over the Northeast Nebraska area and feel very honored to get to do what I love. From assisting buyers in finding, what’s very likely, their life’s most valuable asset, or helping home sellers with the marketing and sale of their home, as they get ready for the next chapter in their life, it is all a joy.

When it comes to relocating, I am no stranger to moving. I grew up in the Norfolk area but was born on an air force base in New Mexico, while my father was serving as an airplane mechanic. We moved to Nebraska when I was a few months old, and I got to make Nebraska my home during my childhood. In 1981, Vulcraft moved my family to Northern Utah so my dad could help open a plant there. I lived in Utah for about 20 years, until my husband and I decided to move our family back to the Norfolk area in 2003. Both of our children graduated from Norfolk High School, and we enjoyed spending a lot of hours at the Johnny Carson Theater. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing with my father and husband as much as possible, and my dog Yuki and I enjoy walking around Skyview Lake as often as we can.

I have built my real estate foundation based on my desire to always put my client’s needs first. I enjoy getting to know my clients and their families through the process of buying or selling their homes.
